Weekly Reflection #2

Throughout the process of my second week of Senior Project, there has definitely been some challenges, ups and downs. From the very beginning of working on the APCS Minecraft Server to the ProctorPal AI and taking Cybersecurity Certifications, it has not been easy.

One aspect that I'm really proud of is the implementation of a web interface on the Minecraft Server. Dynmap is one plugin that offers a live 3D map where players can see who's logged into the server. It took a bit of configuration but getting it to work was really cool. Additionally, I decided to delve into the fascinating field of cybersecurity by enrolling in the NYU Cybersecurity Specialization. I decided to switch from the Google one simply because I thought it would be nicer to get a Specialization that is more educationally oriented in a sense.

As I wrap up my project, I'm thrilled to announce that a public Minecraft server supporting crossplay is on the horizon. It's an exciting development as it allows players from different platforms to join in on the fun. While there are still some final touches needed to ensure a seamless experience, I'm confident that the server will be up and running for all to enjoy!

This entire senior project journey has been an invaluable learning experience. It has taught me important lessons about technology, problem-solving, and persistence. I'm grateful for the support and guidance I've received from my mentors, the incredible team at the ITS Office, and the Proctor community. Their encouragement and assistance have been instrumental in bringing my project to life. I'm excited for innovation night and for what lies ahead after graduation!
