Day #4: E-Waste, Open Dress Rehersal and Earth Day

Another exciting day at the ITS Office! Today, Proctor is celebrating Earth Day and the Tech Office hosted Proctor Students, taught them about the importance of recycling old technology and the dangers of unattended E-Waste. I personally did a little presentation about E-Waste, various initiatives regarding proper tech cycling and showed students about the various components of the computer. After that, the students went on to dissect computers while I worked on re configuring the Minecraft Server, which had some slight issues regarding resource allocation. Then, I would assist the students along with James Cox and Elbridge (Ebby) Gerry in loading boxes filled with old technology into trucks. Those trucks will travel with the students to an E-Waste plant where they will learn all about tech recycling! Tonight is the first open dress rehearsal for Ada and the Engine. Very excited to see the whole play unfold, it is very exciting to be ending Tech Week very soon! Come see Ada and the Engine on May 12 and 13th!
